Depth psychology + counseling
“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
-Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Is the work calling you?
You might be ready for depth work if you find yourself longing for a deeper understanding of your life, sensing that something is changing, or wanting a place to explore what is emerging within you. You may be moving through a transition, feeling stuck in an old pattern, or simply wanting the support of someone who can walk alongside you as you listen more closely to your own life.
There is no particular problem you need to arrive with, and no version of yourself you need to become before beginning. You simply need a willingness to be curious about your own experience and to enter into a relationship where you can be witnessed, supported, and accompanied over time.
Sometimes, the readiness to begin is simply the feeling that you don't want to keep doing it alone…
I like to work with people over long periods of time, creating a relationship where there is room for trust, discovery, and the deeper layers of your experience to emerge. My role is to be a witness to your journey—to listen deeply, offer loving guidance, ask meaningful questions, and help you stay connected to the truth of what is asking to be seen.
Clients I love to work with
I specialize in working with women who feel like they live outside the norms of the modern world. I love to work with clients who are highly sensitive, empathic, and intuitive women who are interested in carving their own path through the world.
I offer counseling that is grounded in a feminist systems perspective meaning, my work is informed by how women’s challenges emerge from a patriarchal and capitalist soil and our growth and power involves understanding how those systems impact us.
I specialize in working with:
healers
entrepreneurs
creatives
neuro-divergent peeps
highly sensitive folk
women who enjoy using astrology, tarot, dreams, and divination in their lives
women who are recovering from new age communities or circles
over-givers and people pleasers who want to establish loving boundaries for themselves and learn to tolerate relational discomfort
women who feel successful in many areas of their lives but find themselves confused by their intimate relationships that drain their energy

Depth psychology is the practice of tending to the deeper layers of the psyche—exploring the unconscious patterns, relationships, images, dreams, wounds, desires, and meanings that shape a person's life.
I come to all my sessions with an open mind, and an open heart. I believe that therapy is not a hierarchy between client and counselor but rather a bow to the unconscious and the soul.
As a depth counselor, I look beneath the surface, I listen deeply to the unsaid, and welcome all my clients to bring dreams to sessions as they can invite us deeper into the truth of the psyche.
-
Above all, I offer my clients radical acceptance and model what it looks like to give their soul exactly what it needs — regardless of what other people (and even what they) think about it.
The soul does not speak judgment and there is no place for it in sessions. Most people come to me when they are ready to step out of judgment, shame, and any dogmatic rules they are living by - including rules they have learned in “spiritual” communities or circles.
I am highly aware of and attuned to power dynamics and do not operate as a counselor who has all the answers or knows best. I help clients continue to defer to their own soul, their own knowing, and their own intuition.
-
We can find the pace of session work that feels right for you and your nervous system. Some clients needs support every week and others, once a month. We can change and vacillate our rhythm together as you change and grow.
I enjoy working with clients over long periods of time as this is how I have been able to support the most lasting change.
All session are done over ZOOM and are 60-minutes in length.

Depth psychology and counseling sessions are $180/hour.
reflections from clients
"I had the privilege of working with Jen, whose unwavering dedication and empathetic approach significantly impacted my personal growth and well-being.
Her attentiveness was evident from our first session, where she actively listened to my concerns and created a safe space for vulnerability. Throughout our time together, she remained engaged and thoughtful in her responses. What set her apart was her ability to challenge me gently and respectfully, pushing me to explore deeper layers of my emotions and perspectives.
I've seen several counselors and astrologers throughout my life - some great, some not so great - and what was most meaningful to me in my experience with Jen is that she created a judgment-free environment, allowing me to trust her and share my thoughts and feelings without reservation. I am immensely grateful for her expertise, compassion, and the positive impact she has had on my personal development.”

“I came to Jen with a very specific intention for healing that I wanted to see if her work would be able to touch. Her work has been invaluable in unravelling some old identity patterns and feeling my way into new relational dynamics with everyone in my life, particularly with my family of origin. Her skill and intuition gently guided me through some major wounds, which have finally been able to clear, giving me the energy and courage to move forward in many areas of my life.”

“Since working with Jen these past few years, I have experienced monumental healing and growth.
I have struggled with anxiety and depression since childhood. Prior to our work together, I was a perfectionist people pleaser in constant fight-or-flight and my personal needs and boundaries were something I had never even considered.
After seeing therapists for years who were helpful but never really "clicked", a friend referred me to Jen. Jen's holistic approach - combining counseling and astrology - was exactly what I had been looking for.
Jen provides a truly safe space to heal and work through hard things.
Through our work, I have made major progress in healing from past traumas, trusting and using my voice and setting healthy boundaries. Since working together, my life is immeasurably better in so many ways and I am so thankful.”
